Description

The Markit iBoxx EUR Liquid High Yield Index aims to track the returns of a specific segment of the euro-denominated corporate bond market. It exclusively includes high-yield (sub-investment grade) bonds, provided they hold a credit rating of at least CCC. For initial inclusion, bonds must have a remaining maturity of a minimum of two years and an original maturity not exceeding 10.5 years. Furthermore, each bond requires a minimum outstanding amount of EUR 250 million. To maintain diversification, the index applies a 3% cap on any single issuer and a 20% limit on country exposure.
