The primary objective of this ETF is to produce income for its investors. It achieves this by predominantly allocating capital to other iShares exchange-traded funds, which, in turn, provide access to a wide array of debt instruments, including government and corporate bonds, high-yield debt, and emerging market securities, as well as other fixed-income categories.
