KSS Line Ltd., a South Korean-based shipping enterprise, was established in 1969 with its headquarters located in Seoul. The company specializes in the marine transportation of various liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) and an extensive range of petrochemical products. Their diverse gas cargoes include compounds such as anhydrous ammonia, butadiene, butane, ethylene, propane, propylene, and vinyl chloride monomer, among others. Similarly, their chemical product portfolio encompasses substances like acetic acid, acetone, benzene, toluene, xylene, methanol, nitric acid, styrene monomer, and numerous other specialized chemicals. The company operates a significant fleet, comprising 6 chemical tankers, 2 conventional tanker vessels, and 4 LNG carriers. KSS Line Ltd. was originally known as Korea Special Shipping Co., Ltd. before officially changing its name in July 1999.
