Comerica Incorporated, operating through its various subsidiaries, offers a comprehensive range of financial products and services. The organization is divided into four primary segments: Commercial Bank, Retail Bank, Wealth Management, and Finance. The Commercial Banking division provides an array of services for small and medium-sized enterprises, multinational corporations, and governmental bodies. These offerings include business loans and credit facilities, deposit services, treasury management, capital markets solutions, international trade finance, letters of credit, foreign exchange operations, and syndicated lending. The Retail Banking segment focuses on personal financial needs, delivering services like consumer loans, deposit accounts, and mortgage origination. This segment's product suite covers installment loans, credit cards, student loans, home equity lines of credit, and residential mortgage loans, in addition to commercial services for very small businesses. The Wealth Management group specializes in fiduciary services, private banking, retirement planning, investment management and advisory, along with investment banking and brokerage services. This segment also distributes annuity products and insurance policies for life, disability, and long-term care. The Finance segment is primarily involved in managing the company's investment securities portfolio and overseeing asset-liability management. Comerica conducts operations across Texas, California, Michigan, Arizona, and Florida, with an international presence in Canada and Mexico. Established in 1849, the company was formerly known as DETROITBANK Corporation until it was renamed Comerica Incorporated in July 1982. Its corporate headquarters are located in Dallas, Texas.
