The Automotive OEM segment focuses on providing plastic and metal components, fasteners, and complete assemblies for vehicle manufacturers (automobiles, light trucks) and various other industrial applications. Its Food Equipment division delivers a comprehensive range of products for the food service industry, including warewashing, refrigeration, cooking, and food processing machinery, along with kitchen exhaust and ventilation systems, and associated repair and maintenance services. The Test & Measurement and Electronics segment offers equipment, consumables, and accompanying software designed for evaluating materials and structures, as well as products essential for the production of electronic subassemblies and microelectronics. The Welding segment manufactures arc welding equipment, metal arc welding consumables, and related accessories. Through its Polymers & Fluids division, ITW develops and supplies adhesives, sealants, lubrication and cutting fluids, and specialized polymers for applications like automotive aftermarket maintenance and aesthetic products. The Construction Products segment provides engineered fastening systems and solutions tailored for residential building, renovation/remodeling projects, and the commercial construction market. Finally, the Specialty Products segment offers equipment and consumables for beverage packaging, product coding and marking, and components and fasteners used in appliances. ITW's extensive customer base includes automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and their tiers, the commercial food equipment sector, the construction industry, various general industrial enterprises, and the automotive aftermarket. The company reaches its customers through direct sales to industrial manufacturers as well as via a network of independent distributors.
