WestRock Company, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is a global enterprise dedicated to providing fiber-based paper and packaging solutions, with operations spanning across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. The company's business activities are organized into two primary divisions: Corrugated Packaging and Consumer Packaging. The Corrugated Packaging segment is responsible for manufacturing a range of products, including containerboards, corrugated sheets, and various forms of corrugated packaging and preprinted linerboards. These products are supplied to both consumer and industrial goods manufacturers, as well as to other corrugated box producers. In addition to these core manufacturing activities, the segment offers a suite of services such as structural and graphic design, engineering expertise, and supplies custom, proprietary, and standard automated packaging machinery. It also provides comprehensive solutions encompassing turn-key installation, automation, line integration, and broader packaging services. This division further distributes various specialized packaging materials like stretch films, void fills, and sealing tapes. A key part of its operation involves managing recycling facilities where recovered paper is collected, sorted, graded, and baled. Other offerings include lithographic laminated packaging products and contract packing services. The Consumer Packaging segment specializes in producing folding cartons, which are utilized for packaging a wide array of products, from food, beverages, dairy, tobacco, and confectionery to health and beauty items, general household consumer goods, and even express mail packages for the overnight courier industry. Its product line also extends to inserts, labels, rigid packaging, and various other printed materials such as transaction cards, brochures, product literature, marketing collateral, and even grower tags and plant stakes for the horticultural sector. This segment also creates secondary packages and paperboard packaging specifically for over-the-counter and prescription drugs. Furthermore, it manufactures solid fiber and corrugated partitions, along with die-cut paperboard components, primarily serving glass container manufacturers, the automotive industry, and producers of alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, spirits), food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals.
