This index is a market-capitalization-weighted benchmark comprising small-capitalization companies located in developed countries. The fund employs a passive management or indexing strategy, seeking to mirror the index's returns. It does this by investing in all, or a representative selection, of the index's constituent securities, maintaining each stock's weighting in approximate proportion to its presence in the benchmark.
