The company is structured into three principal divisions: Enclosure Systems, DewertOkin Technology Group, and Industrial Components. Founded in 1975 as Phoenix Maschinentechnik AG, the company adopted its current name, Phoenix Mecano AG, in 1986. It is headquartered in Stein am Rhein, Switzerland.
