Description
Enterprise Products Partners L.P. stands as a significant provider of midstream energy infrastructure and services, serving both the producers and end-users of natural gas, natural gas liquids (NGLs), crude oil, petrochemicals, and refined petroleum products. The company's comprehensive operations are segmented into four primary divisions: NGL Pipelines & Services, Crude Oil Pipelines & Services, Natural Gas Pipelines & Services, and Petrochemical & Refined Products Services. The NGL Pipelines & Services division focuses on processing natural gas and facilitating the commercialization of NGLs. This segment oversees 19 natural gas processing plants spread across Colorado, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Texas, and Wyoming. Its assets also include an extensive network of NGL pipelines, fractionation facilities, storage solutions for NGLs and related commodities, and dedicated NGL marine terminals. Responsible for the transit and storage of crude oil, the Crude Oil Pipelines & Services segment manages various crude oil pipelines, storage depots, and marine terminals. It also maintains a fleet of 255 tanker trucks for road-based crude oil transportation and actively participates in crude oil marketing initiatives. The Natural Gas Pipelines & Services unit is tasked with operating natural gas pipeline systems designed for the gathering, treatment, and transmission of natural gas. It leases underground salt dome natural gas storage sites in Napoleonville, Louisiana, and owns a similar subterranean salt dome storage cavern located in Wharton County, Texas, further engaging in natural gas sales. Finally, the Petrochemical & Refined Products Services segment handles propylene fractionation and its subsequent marketing. It manages a butane isomerization complex along with deisobutanizer operations, in addition to facilities for octane enhancement and the creation of high-purity isobutylene. This division also oversees refined products pipelines and terminals, ethylene export terminals, and offers refined product marketing and marine transportation services. Founded in 1968, the firm's main corporate office is located in Houston, Texas.
