CanSino Biologics Inc., a company established in 2009 and headquartered in Tianjin, People's Republic of China, is dedicated to the research, development, manufacturing, and commercialization of vaccines throughout China. Its existing portfolio includes significant vaccines such as Convidecia and Ad5-nCoV for Inhalation, both designed to combat recombinant novel coronavirus disease. The company has also developed Ad5-EBOV, an effective vaccine against the Ebola virus, and offers MCV2 and MCV4 vaccines for preventing N. meningitides infections. A substantial portion of its pipeline is currently undergoing Phase I clinical trials. This includes DTcP vaccines for infants and a DTcP Booster, both aimed at providing enhanced protection against pertussis after initial immunization. Also in Phase I are PBPV, a serotype-independent protein-based pneumococcal vaccine; PCV13i, a pneumococcal conjugate vaccine; and a TB Booster vaccine intended for the BCG-immunized population. Furthermore, CanSino is developing a Tdcp vaccine specifically for adolescents and adults to address pertussis. Beyond these clinical-stage candidates, the company maintains a robust pipeline of preclinical products. This includes a DTcP-Hib Combo vaccine, CSB012 for adenovirus, CSB013 targeting the ZIKA virus, CSB015 for meningitis, CSB016 for shingles, and CSB107 against polio.
