Established in 2006, the firm initially operated as Global Group Corp. until its rebranding to Global Kids Company Corp. in April 2019. Its operations encompass both state-sanctioned and private nurseries, in addition to after-school clubs and youth centers. By September 30, 2020, the company had established 176 locations across major regions including Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama, and Osaka. This network was composed of 125 nursery schools licensed by the national government, 23 early childhood education and care centers or nurseries approved by local authorities, 11 employer-sponsored childcare facilities, 13 after-school care centers or children's houses, and four dedicated child developmental support facilities.
