MORI TRUST Reit, Inc., a Japanese real estate investment corporation, was incorporated on October 2, 2001, under the Law Concerning Investment Trusts and Investment Corporations of Japan, or the Investment Trust Law. MTR was originally formed by Mori Trust Co., Ltd., and commenced operations on March 28, 2002, by acquiring a property. MTR is provided professional asset management services of properties of various types by a licensed asset management company, MORI TRUST Asset Management Co., Ltd. MTAM is currently owned 95% by MORI TRUST Co., Ltd., and 5% by Mori Trust Hotels & Resorts Co., Ltd. On February 13, 2004, MTR was listed on the J-REIT section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. As of August 31, 2025, MTR owned a portfolio of 20 properties with a total rentable area of 506,295.29 sq. meters occupied by 121 tenants. The occupancy rate was 99.8%.
