The fund's primary strategy involves building a diverse portfolio of U.S. company stocks, focusing on those with small to mid-range market capitalizations. Ordinarily, at least 80% of its total assets are committed to these types of enterprises. For the purpose of this investment approach, small- to mid-capitalization companies are considered those whose market value, at the point of purchase, falls within a specific range: from the smallest company in the Russell 2500® Value Index up to the greater of $5 billion or the market capitalization of the largest company in that same index.
