The fund's main objective is to generate significant current income, supported by a secondary goal of long-term capital appreciation. Typically, at least 80% of its assets are invested in equity securities. It builds a diversified portfolio of income-producing stocks spanning all market capitalizations, aiming for yields that the subadviser projects will exceed the Russell 3000 Value Index.
