ArcelorMittal S.A. functions as a global integrated steel and mining enterprise, maintaining extensive operations across Europe, North and South America, Asia, and Africa. The company's comprehensive steel portfolio encompasses semi-finished flat forms such as slabs, alongside a wide array of finished flat products including plates, hot and cold-rolled coils and sheets, galvanized (hot-dipped and electro) coils and sheets, tinplate, and pre-painted materials. Its offerings also extend to intermediate long products like blooms and billets, as well as final long products such as bars, wire rods, structural shapes, railway tracks, sheet piles, and various wire products, complemented by both seamless and welded pipes and tubes. From its mining divisions, ArcelorMittal extracts critical raw materials including iron ore (available as lumps, fines, concentrates, pellets, and sinter feeds) and various types of coal, namely coking, thermal, and pulverized coal injection (PCI). These materials and steel products are supplied to diverse sectors like automotive, home appliances, engineering, construction, energy, and heavy machinery, primarily through the company's centralized marketing channels and a network of distributors. Iron ore extraction takes place in numerous countries, including Brazil, Bosnia, Canada, Kazakhstan, Liberia, Mexico, South Africa, and Ukraine, while coal mining operations are specifically concentrated in Kazakhstan. Established in 1976, ArcelorMittal S.A. maintains its corporate headquarters in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg.
