Typically, this fund allocates a minimum of 80% of its total assets to common stocks of small-capitalization companies, specifically those that the subadviser identifies as undervalued. This investment philosophy focuses on acquiring shares of companies that are either out of favor with the broader market or are considered underpriced when compared to their industry counterparts or their expected future growth. Furthermore, the fund retains the option to invest in mid-capitalization companies, which the adviser currently defines as firms whose market value at the time of purchase falls within the range of those included in the Russell Midcap® Index.
