Conversely, the AA&S division focuses on manufacturing zirconium and its allied alloys (like hafnium and niobium), nickel-based alloys, titanium and its derivatives, and other specialized alloys, supplied as plates, sheets, and precision-rolled strips. It also provides hot-rolling conversion services, encompassing carbon steel and titanium products. The AA&S segment's solutions serve clients in the energy, aerospace, defense, automotive, and electronics industries. Established in 1960 and headquartered in Dallas, Texas, the company was formerly known as Allegheny Technologies Incorporated.
