Under typical market conditions, this fund commits at least 80% of its total assets, including any capital borrowed for investment, to equity securities issued by smaller U.S. companies. For the purpose of this fund, such companies are defined as having a market valuation of $5 billion or less at the time an investment is initiated. The equity securities held by the fund may encompass a range of instruments, specifically common shares, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), American Depositary Receipts (ADRs), Master Limited Partnerships (MLPs), and foreign company stocks priced in U.S. dollars and traded on American exchanges.
