The fund primarily aims for long-term capital appreciation by investing in the common equity of U.S.-based growth companies characterized as small or mid-sized. The adviser considers small and mid-sized firms to be those whose market capitalization, at the moment of purchase, does not exceed that of the largest stock within the Russell Midcap Growth Index at its rebalancing. Due to its patient, long-term investment strategy, a substantial part of the fund's holdings may consist of securities that have increased in value beyond their original market capitalization categories. This portfolio is non-diversified.
