The Baron International Growth Fund is a diversified investment vehicle that primarily seeks long-term capital appreciation by acquiring common stock in growth-oriented companies located outside the United States. It aims to diversify its holdings across a wide range of global economies, investing in both well-established developed nations and emerging markets. However, the fund maintains a limit, investing no more than 35% of its total net assets in developing countries. For this fund's purposes, developing countries are considered to be those listed in the MSCI Emerging Markets (EM) Index, the MSCI Frontier Markets (FM) Index, or any other nation designated as developing by the Adviser based on predefined classifications.
