Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P. owns and operates critical infrastructure assets across North and South America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region. Its diverse portfolio spans utilities, transportation networks, midstream energy operations, and data infrastructure. In its Utilities division, the company manages approximately 61,000 kilometers (km) of operational electricity transmission and distribution lines, 5,300 km of electricity transmission lines, and 4,200 km of natural gas pipelines. It serves 7.3 million electricity and natural gas connections and provides 360,000 long-term contracted sub-metering services. This segment also delivers heating and cooling solutions, gas distribution, water heater services, and rentals for heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), along with other home services. The Transport segment provides services for the movement, storage, and handling of merchandise goods, commodities, and passengers. Its extensive network includes approximately 22,000 km of track, 5,500 km of track network, 4,800 km of rail, 3,800 km of motorways, and 13 port terminals. Within the Midstream segment, Brookfield Infrastructure offers natural gas transmission, gathering, processing, and storage services. Its assets comprise approximately 15,000 km of natural gas transmission pipelines, 600 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity, 17 natural gas processing plants, 3,900 km of gas gathering pipelines, and one petrochemical processing complex. The Data segment encompasses a substantial digital infrastructure footprint. It operates approximately 148,000 operational telecom towers, 8,000 multi-purpose towers and active rooftop sites, and 10,000 km of fiber backbone. Furthermore, it manages 1,600 cell sites alongside approximately 12,000 km of fiber optic cable, 2,100 active telecom towers with 70 distributed antenna systems, 50 data centers, and provides 200 megawatts of critical load capacity. Established in 2007 and headquartered in Hamilton, Bermuda, Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P. operates as a subsidiary of Brookfield Asset Management Inc.
