This portfolio strategically invests in a variety of American Funds, utilizing diverse combinations and allocations. The underlying investments encompass a broad range of strategies, such as growth, growth-and-income, equity-income, balanced, and fixed-income approaches. Typically, through these underlying holdings, the fund maintains at least 45% of its net assets in common equities and other stock-related investments. Furthermore, a minimum of 25% of its net asset value is allocated to bonds and other debt instruments, including money market securities. The portfolio also includes inherent exposure to common stocks with a growth orientation.
