The Baird Mid Cap Growth Fund typically dedicates a minimum of 80% of its net assets, along with any funds acquired through borrowing, to equity investments in mid-sized companies. These investments predominantly comprise common stocks, preferred stocks, securities convertible into common stock, and American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) issued by both U.S. and international mid-capitalization firms, provided they are traded on prominent U.S. exchanges. Although the portfolio largely concentrates on U.S.-based enterprises, it maintains the option to allocate up to 15% of its total assets to foreign equity holdings, encompassing common shares, ordinary shares, and ADRs from non-U.S. companies.
