The fund typically allocates a minimum of 80% of its net capital to equity investments in U.S. companies with medium market capitalizations. Its management team seeks out businesses they believe exhibit the potential for above-average earnings growth. At the time of initial investment, the fund's advisor generally categorizes these mid-cap companies as those possessing market capitalizations comparable in scale to the constituents of the Russell Midcap® Growth Index.
