This Amundi exchange-traded fund adheres to UCITS regulations and is designed to mirror the performance of its underlying benchmark, the NYSE Arca Gold BUGS TR index. Officially designated as the NYSE Arca Gold BUGS NTR Index (HUINTR), this index is composed exclusively of companies involved in gold mining. Its methodology aims to provide exposure to immediate fluctuations in gold prices by focusing on firms that restrict their gold production hedging to periods shorter than 18 months. The HUINTR is a U.S. dollar-denominated index with a modified equal-weighting scheme. Upon each rebalancing, the two largest companies within the index are each allocated a 15% weighting, while the third-largest position receives a 10% weighting. The remaining 60% of the index is then distributed equally among all other eligible constituents. Inclusion in the index is determined by various factors, including a company's market capitalization and trading liquidity. This benchmark was first established on March 15, 1996, beginning with a base value of 200 points.
