The fund's primary objective is to generate a comprehensive return for investors, encompassing both significant long-term capital growth and a steady stream of income. Typically, the fund allocates a minimum of 80% of its total net assets (which includes any funds acquired through borrowing for investment) to common equity shares. Furthermore, under standard market conditions, at least 80% of these assets are strategically placed in the stocks of established U.S. corporations. These corporations generally possess market valuations exceeding $2 billion and are identified by the fund's manager as being undervalued, yet demonstrating strong potential for sustained appreciation and income generation over the long term. Up to 20% of the portfolio's net assets may also be diversified into international equities.
