This fund typically commits a minimum of 80% of its total net assets, which includes any borrowed capital, to the common equities of smaller corporations. The management team considers a small company to be one whose market capitalization falls within the parameters of the Russell 2000® Index at the time of acquisition. Furthermore, up to 25% of the fund's net assets may be allocated to non-U.S. securities.
