The Columbia Global Technology Growth Fund Institutional 2 Class is primarily focused on achieving capital appreciation. To pursue this goal, the fund dedicates a minimum of 80% of its net assets—a figure that includes any borrowed funds used for investment—to equity securities. These holdings encompass various forms of stock, such as common and preferred shares, along with convertible securities, specifically targeting companies within the technology sector that are positioned to capitalize on technological improvements, advancements, or developments.
