Description

The Columbia Thermostat Fund functions as a "fund of funds," aiming to achieve its financial goals by strategically investing in a diverse selection of underlying stock and bond mutual funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). A key characteristic of its management is that at least 95% of its net assets are allocated among these portfolio funds based on an asset allocation framework that dynamically adjusts according to the current level of the Standard & Poor's (S&P) 500® Index. The remaining portion, up to 5% of its net assets, in addition to any cash received on a given day, may be held in highly liquid and secure instruments such as cash, top-tier short-term paper, and government debt.
