To achieve its objective, the fund primarily allocates at least 80% of its total assets, including any capital raised through borrowing for investment purposes, into debt instruments that are components of the Bloomberg U.S. Aggregate Bond Index, or in other financial instruments possessing comparable economic characteristics. This index itself is a broad, passively managed benchmark encompassing the U.S. dollar-denominated, investment-grade (rated Baa/BBB or better), fixed-rate, taxable segment of the bond market.
