DCP Midstream, LP, along with its various subsidiaries, manages a diverse portfolio of midstream energy infrastructure throughout the United States, including its ownership, operation, acquisition, and development. The company's activities are strategically structured into two primary business units: Logistics and Marketing and Gathering and Processing. The Logistics and Marketing division focuses on the transportation, trading, marketing, and storage of both natural gas and natural gas liquids (NGLs), as well as the fractionation of NGLs. Meanwhile, the Gathering and Processing segment undertakes the collection, compression, treatment, and refinement of natural gas. This segment also encompasses the production and fractionation of NGLs and the recovery of condensate. DCP Midstream's substantial asset base includes approximately 36 natural gas processing facilities. It caters to a wide range of clients, notably petrochemical and refining enterprises, as well as retail propane distributors. Established in 2005 and headquartered in Denver, Colorado, the company was formerly known as DCP Midstream Partners, LP, adopting its current name, DCP Midstream, LP, in January 2017.
