This Portfolio operates as a feeder fund, dedicating nearly all its capital to its corresponding master fund, the Emerging Markets Series of the DFA Investment Trust Company. This master fund possesses investment objectives and policies that are precisely aligned with those of the Portfolio. Under typical conditions, and as a non-fundamental policy, the Emerging Markets Series is obligated to invest at least 80% of its net assets in emerging market investments, specifically those designated as 'Approved Market securities' within its Prospectus.
