This fund primarily invests in equity instruments, including common and preferred shares, along with depositary receipts, issued by international corporations. These securities are sourced from various global trading platforms, such as major stock exchanges, developing markets, alternative trading systems, and over-the-counter (OTC) venues. Typically, the fund commits a minimum of 80% of its total assets (defined as net assets combined with borrowed funds for investment) to stocks of companies based outside the United States. This allocation must span at least three distinct foreign nations, which may include both developed and emerging economies.
