Description

The fund's principal aim is to achieve significant long-term growth for both its capital and the income it generates, with a secondary objective of providing a reasonable level of current income. Its investment approach primarily involves building a diverse portfolio of equity-based securities. A minimum of 80% of its total assets will be allocated to equity investments, which can include common shares, depositary receipts representing stock ownership, preferred shares, securities convertible into common stock, and rights to purchase common stock. Additionally, the fund has the discretion to invest up to 20% of its overall assets in U.S. dollar-denominated securities from non-U.S. companies, provided these securities are traded in the United States and are not components of the S&P 500 index.
