The segment's assets encompass ownership, operation, and investment in critical natural gas pipeline transmission and storage facilities. Overall, it serves around 1.6 million customers, with a significant portion (1.1 million) located in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee, and an additional 550,000 customers in southwestern Ohio and northern Kentucky. The Commercial Renewables segment is dedicated to the acquisition, ownership, development, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects, primarily focusing on wind and solar power, alongside non-regulated renewable energy and energy storage solutions. These services are provided to a diverse clientele, including utilities, electric cooperatives, municipalities, and corporate clients.
