Direct equal-weight exposure to some of the largest and most liquid Canadian companies involved in the crude oil and natural gas industry. ENCC aims to generate income through covered call writing, a strategy historically known for producing higher yields during periods of volatility.* *Covered call writing can limit the upside potential of the underlying security. Designed to provide a consistent monthly income with an opportunity for growth. ENCC seeks to provide, to the extent possible and net of expenses: (a) exposure to the performance of an index of Canadian companies that are involved in the crude oil and natural gas industry (currently, the Mirae Asset Equal Weight Canadian Oil & Gas Index); and (b) at least monthly distributions of dividend and call option income. To mitigate downside risk and generate income, ENCC will employ a dynamic covered call option writing program.
