The Invesco NASDAQ-100 Swap UCITS ETF Acc aims to mirror the net total return performance of the NASDAQ-100 Index, its designated benchmark, after accounting for fund expenses. This benchmark index is composed of the 100 largest non-financial US and international companies by market capitalization, whose shares trade on the NASDAQ Stock Market. Its constituents originate from key sectors such as computer hardware and software, telecommunications, retail/wholesale commerce, and biotechnology, but critically omits any financial companies, including investment firms. To achieve its goal, the fund primarily holds a diverse basket of equities, which typically contributes the majority of its returns, though these holdings are generally distinct from those directly within the NASDAQ-100 Index. It also utilizes unfunded swap contracts with approved counterparties. These agreements facilitate the exchange of any performance discrepancies between the Reference Index and the fund's internal equity basket, enabling a more precise and stable alignment with the index than traditional physical replication alone. A key detail is that while the fund's objective targets the net total return index, the underlying swaps are based on the gross total return index. As a consequence, the ETF's performance is anticipated to surpass the return of the net index. This ETF is passively managed, functioning as an index-tracking vehicle. An investment in this fund signifies the acquisition of its units, rather than direct ownership of the underlying assets it holds.
