Under typical market conditions, this fund primarily allocates at least 80% of its net assets (including any borrowed capital for investment) to equity and equity-related instruments within the healthcare and life sciences sectors. These investments can encompass common stock, preferred stock, options, and convertible debt. The fund has full discretion to invest in securities of companies based outside the United States, either directly or via American Depositary Receipts (ADRs), with no limitation.
