The fund's primary objective is to achieve the highest possible overall return across an extended period. To accomplish this, it strategically distributes its capital among three principal investment categories. The first, the stock class, encompasses a diverse range of equity securities, including shares in other funds focused on these types of investments. The second is the bond class, which comprises various debt instruments with maturities greater than one year. This segment notably includes lower-rated, higher-risk bonds—often referred to as high-yield or "junk" bonds—along with funds that invest in such securities. Finally, the short-term/money market class focuses on fixed-income securities and related funds that have maturities of one year or less.
