This Invesco fund, the FTSE All Share Screened & Tilted UCITS ETF Dist, endeavors to replicate the net total return performance of the FTSE All Share ex Investment Trusts ESG Climate Select Index, after accounting for management fees. It provides quarterly dividend distributions to investors. The benchmark index focuses on large and mid-capitalisation companies within the UK equity market, dynamically adjusting their free-float market capitalisation based on specific environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics. This strategic weighting aims to boost exposure to companies that exhibit strong ESG profiles, derive a greater proportion of their revenue from environmentally friendly projects, and maintain lower levels of carbon emissions and fossil fuel reserves. Starting with the broader FTSE All-Share ex Investment Trusts Index, the Reference Index rigorously excludes companies involved in serious ESG-related controversies (such as breaches of the UN Global Compact) or those operating in specific business sectors as defined by the Index Provider. These exclusions cover Arctic oil and gas exploration, adult entertainment, controversial weapons, small arms manufacturing, gambling, military contracting, nuclear power, oil sands, thermal coal, recreational cannabis, and tobacco. The index is reconstituted quarterly. To achieve its objective, the ETF implements a physical replication approach, striving to acquire and hold, wherever feasible, all securities comprising the Reference Index in their exact proportions. The fund's holdings are updated in line with the index's quarterly rebalancing schedule. As a passively managed, index-tracking fund, an investment represents ownership of units within the fund, rather than direct ownership of the underlying assets it holds.
