This fund strategically allocates its assets across a diverse portfolio of underlying Fidelity funds. Its holdings encompass U.S. equities, international equities (spanning both developed and emerging economies), bond funds, and short-term investments. The fund employs a dynamic asset allocation strategy designed to progressively shift towards a more conservative risk profile over time. This approach culminates in an asset mix mirroring that of the Fidelity Freedom® Income Fund. Specifically, this ultimate allocation, expected to be achieved roughly 10 to 19 years following 2030, will consist of approximately 17% in domestic equity funds, 7% in international equity funds, 46% in bond funds, and 30% in short-term funds.
