This fund primarily dedicates its investments to a mix of common and preferred equity shares, along with various fixed-income instruments. Additionally, it has the discretion to allocate capital to other investment vehicles, known as "underlying funds." These can include both domestic and international mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), closed-end funds, and unit investment trusts. A fundamental rule for the fund is to maintain its overall exposure to equity-related assets—either directly through stocks or indirectly via equity-focused underlying funds—within a strict range of 30% to 70% of its net asset value.
