The fund endeavors to deliver significant long-term capital appreciation. It pursues this objective by primarily deploying its assets into common and preferred corporate equities, as well as various fixed-income instruments. Furthermore, the portfolio incorporates holdings in a range of equity-oriented investment vehicles, including both domestic and international mutual funds, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), closed-end funds, and unit investment trusts. A core mandate dictates that a substantial portion—specifically, no less than 80% and no more than 95%—of its net assets will consistently be allocated to equity securities or to underlying funds that are themselves invested in equities.
