Under typical market conditions, the fund allocates a minimum of 80% of its total capital (defined as its net assets combined with any funds borrowed for investment purposes) to municipal bonds. These bonds are specifically selected to provide income that is exempt from Nebraska state income tax, federal income tax, and the federal Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT). Furthermore, the fund restricts its holdings such that no more than 10% of its assets will be invested in municipal securities whose interest is subject to the Alternative Minimum Tax.
