Under typical market conditions, the fund commits a minimum of 80% of its total investment capital—which includes both its net assets and any funds borrowed for investment purposes—to the equity securities of smaller companies. These small-capitalization firms are defined as businesses whose market values align with the capitalization range of companies included in the Russell 2000® Index, with this assessment based on the index's composition after its most recent reconstitution, as of the last business day of that month.
