This fund aims to generate substantial capital appreciation for its investors over the long term. Typically, it allocates a minimum of 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowed capital for investment purposes) to a diverse collection of stocks. These investments focus on mid-capitalization companies whose market values fall within the range of firms included in the Russell Midcap® Value Index at the time of purchase. While the fund primarily invests in publicly traded U.S. equities, it retains the flexibility to invest in international securities, including those issued by companies in developing economies or denominated in non-U.S. currencies.
