The fund's capital is strategically deployed by its Investment Manager across a broad range of U.S. and international stock and bond strategies. The Manager determines these investment weightings by carefully evaluating various economic and other pertinent indicators, with the goal of projecting future likelihoods and potential risks, such as market volatility. Typically, a substantial portion of the portfolio is invested in non-U.S. companies – those either based internationally or conducting considerable business outside the United States – and may also include securities issued in foreign currencies or foreign currency forward contracts.
