Under normal market conditions, the fund aims to achieve its investment objective by primarily allocating a minimum of 80% of its total assets—calculated as net assets plus any borrowed funds for investment purposes—to equity-related instruments. This broad category includes common stocks, subscription rights, options, warrants, and convertible debt securities. Such investments may originate from U.S. companies, foreign entities with U.S. dollar-denominated securities, or through American Depositary Receipts (ADRs). Furthermore, the fund generally targets companies whose market capitalization, at the time of acquisition, typically falls within the size parameters of those included in the Russell 1000® Value Index.
