The Invesco UK Gilt 1-5 Year UCITS ETF Dist seeks to mirror the total return performance of the Bloomberg UK Gilt 1-5 Years Index, net of its various fees. Income generated by the fund is distributed to investors every three months. Its benchmark index measures the performance of high-quality, fixed-interest government bonds issued by the United Kingdom, denominated in British Pounds, which have remaining maturities ranging from one to five years. Specifically, this index only tracks conventional nominal gilts, deliberately excluding any inflation-linked bonds. Both the fund's portfolio and its reference index undergo a process of rebalancing and reconstitution on a monthly schedule. To achieve its investment goal, the portfolio managers utilize sophisticated modeling and analytical techniques, investing in a representative sample of the index's securities rather than every component. This 'sampling' approach aims to closely replicate the index's performance while simultaneously reducing the operational costs that would typically be incurred with full replication. This is a passively managed exchange-traded fund, meaning an investment represents ownership of units within this index-tracking vehicle, not direct ownership of the underlying bonds themselves.
