The fund's primary objective is to maximize long-term total returns, while diligently managing the risk to initial capital. To achieve this, it typically allocates a minimum of 80% of its net assets (inclusive of any leveraged positions) to equity securities, such as common stocks, issued by large-capitalization companies. These companies must demonstrate a substantial economic nexus to the United States, as determined by one of the following criteria: their incorporation under U.S. law, the location of their principal business operations within the U.S., their primary listing and trading venue being in the U.S., or their inclusion, at the point of acquisition, in a U.S. equity index administered by S&P Global Ratings or FTSE Russell.
